About
Symposium 2019 is an event being organised on 6th March and 7th March 2019, which is being conducted by Amity Law School, Amity University, Noida. The Symposium aims to promote reflective thinking on the contemporary issue of “Triple Talaq, Sabrimala Temple Entry and Latest ruling of Supreme Court on Adultery, Schemes on Women empowerment etc”.
To bring awareness amongst people regarding the changing social and political landscape in India, a step that enables women to successfully take on orthodox elements in their community.
This event is an earnest attempt to provide an effective research tool by sparking scholastic conversation amongst a diverse group of academicians, jurists, students, scholars and prominent thinkers.
Eligibility
The Centre invites academicians, practitioners and students of law from any recognized university to register as a participant or to submit research papers for paper presentations to be held at the Symposium.

The theme of the symposium is “International Endeavour to Revive Human Rights: Efforts and Consequences”.

The outcomes of the symposium can be numerated as under:
- Opportunity to focus on the holistic development of Mankind
- A better understanding of issues of economic disparities, social challenges and cultural aspects of nations on an international level.
- Opportunity to be able to understand the depth of human rights and various challenges that arise in order to provide basic rights.

The above areas of law and sub-themes are indicative in nature. The participants are free to choose an interdisciplinary topic involving one or more of the above areas of law or sub-themes, provided that it fits within the broad theme of the Symposium.
Submission Details
- Submissions should be in Times New Roman, the font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing, justified text and 1-inch margins on all sides of the A4 sheet. (Page number)
- Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, the font size 10 with 1.0-line spacing. Endnotes are not allowed.
- Submissions must be emailed at [email protected](in. docx format) along with a covering letter.
- The covering letter should include the name of the author(s), contact details and affiliations. Each submission may have up to two authors.
- The submission should be in the form of an Article with a word limit of 3000-5000 words including footnotes.
- Authors shall be required to submit an Abstract of 300-500 words, explaining the main idea, objective of the article and the conclusions drawn from it before the submission of the paper.
- Maximum limit for Plagiarism is 10 percent and any paper not complying with the same will be disqualified. Abstracts are excluded from this Criteria.
- Submitted entries must not have been sent for consideration at any other place for presentation or publication.
- Footnotes must conform to the ILI CITATION FORMAT.
Submission Guidelines
All the Abstracts should be submitted by _october 2020 All submissions will go through an initial round of scrutiny and shortlisted submissions will be informed through mail.
The full paper should be submitted by october 2020 All submissions will undergo a blind review procedure to be conducted by the Editorial Board.
Participants will be accordingly informed about the presentation and publication of their research paper.

Registration Guidelines
The registration fee per person for the research paper, for:
- Student or Research Scholar (Single Author): 750 INR
- Student or Research Scholar (Co-Author): 1000 INR
- Academician or Professional (Single Author): 1000 INR
- Academician or Professional (Co-Author): 1500 INR
- International Participants : Rs. 5000
After selection of abstract, the participants are required to submit the registration form via mail along with the prescribed fees. Registration form can be obtained from the official website.

Publication and Presentation Guidelines
- The research papers will be published in form of a book by Central Law Publisher with ISBN.
- Proceedings of the symposium will be published in form of a book by Jus Dicere with ISBN.
- The presenters may adopt any suitable means for presenting the papers including audio-visual aids, PowerPoint presentations etc.
- Any form of participation shall be acknowledged through Certificate.
Participation Guidelines
- All those participants who are not submitting a paper can register online till 4th March 2019 or 6th March 2019 at the registration counter.
The fee for participation without paper submission is Rs. 500 and mode of payment would be Demand Draft or On the spot registration. (Prior information is required).
